I wander what these so called college edumacated peeps are thinking. I know its her fault but those boys are to blame also they were old enough to know right or wrong. Golfers with handicaps: - below 10 will have their green fees increased by 35%. - between 11 and 18 will see no increase in green fees. - above 18 will get a $20 check each time they play. The term "gimme" will be changed to "entitlement" and will be used as follows: - handicaps below 10, no entitlements. - handicaps from 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts. - handicaps above 18, if your ball is on green, no need to putt, just pick it up. These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness and, most importantly, equality in scoring. In addition, a player will be limited to a maximum of one birdie or six pars in any given 18-hole round. Any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par. Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player actually making the birdie or par, can that player begin to count his pars and birdies again. The current USGA handicap system will be used for the above purposes, but the term 'net score' will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps of 18 and above.
This is intended to 'redistribute' the success of winning by making sure that in every competition, the above 18 handicap players will post only 'net score' against every other player's gross score. Well I started my weight loss / blood sugar lowering lifestyle change. Its been 4 days now and my BS is doing great, I've walked 8 miles so far . I don't know if I could had walked 2 miles a day if it had not been for my golf buddy has pushed and pulled me to walk every day. when I started this program my doctor put me on a low dosage of meds, I was suppose to increase in one week , But I think I may have to leave med's at current levels for now. I have loss 16 lbs in in 4 days and Thanksgiving is just around the corner my goal for this holiday is simple. I will meat and veggies maybe a small amt of pumpkin pie sugar free of course and some stuffing. Wish me luck.

Walking hasn't been to bad I was supposed to start out slowly but my good friend doesn't know slowly. I have ate 3 meals a day and haven't cheated.

When I got off work today I took my Blood sugar was 133 I went and ate a hamburger pattie with cheese and few peppers the salad I ate with raspberry oil on it. Then me and my friend then walked the cart path all 9 holes. I just got home from a doctor visit in Denton. The doctor is a Endocrinologist, Diabetic specialist, he was recommended to me by friend of mine who is a diabetic also. I have struggled the last year with side affect of some medications and trying to basically changing med's because they wasn't working, but in fact they were working I wasn't doing my part eating right and exercising .

So today I start my program to control diabetes and lose weight which in turn may lower my blood psi and sugar. I have a new goal for Nov.15,2011 is to weigh 260# . I will start walking around the block today and will keep updating the WCTB.....I could use your prayers in this attempt to change my life style.........smoking and drinking no problem check off the list



I started a diet once on nov 14 and in 6 month I lost 98 # . Went right thru the holidays Maybe I Can do it again....

But the total does not include the costs of medical complications that often result from Type 2 diabetes, such as heart disease, strokes, liver and kidney damage, eye damage and a susceptibility to infections and poor healing that can lead to amputations. I have struggled with this for nearly 2 years and I still haven't managed it very well I wish I had a diet to follow of foods that I would like......I have finally got a appointment for next week to see a Diabetic doctor let me tell you my cost has gone up I understand the cost. What I cant stand is the cheaper drugs causes me side effects like rash, leg cramps and stomach cramps

I was listening to a radio show today and they were talking about the mystery trail of smoke in the pacific ocean appox 35 miles from the US coast. They seem to believe it was a missile fired from a submarine the only problem is they think it was a Chinese Submarine letting the world and USA that if we want to play in their back yard they can ours and they did it just a few days before barry oops I mean Obama was gonna meet with other leader. WMR’s intelligence sources in Asia, including Japan, say the belief by the military commands in Asia and the intelligence services is that the Chinese decided to demonstrate to the United States its capabilities on the eve of the G-20 Summit in Seoul and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Tokyo, where President Obama is scheduled to attend during his ten-day trip to Asia.
The reported Chinese missile test off Los Angeles came as a double blow to Obama. The day after the missile firing, China’s leading credit rating agency, Dagong Global Credit Rating, downgraded sovereign debt rating of the United States to A-plus from AA. The missile demonstration coupled with the downgrading of the United States financial grade represents a military and financial show of force by Beijing to Washington.

It's the weekend and I am not working I took a short 3 day vacation and I finally got to golf 18 holes. I lost the first 9 it cost me a soda. The second 9 Monty and me won but we was only playing for pride, pride doesn't taste as good as soda. We started at 8am and it wasn't bad heat wise. Now I am home and we have a a stranger here . Huggie has come all the way from ft worth area to visit us. (poochie also came). Its Auction night and It's John Wayne day on tv all day wow it's a good day.

I noticed this week that former President G W Bush and first lady Laura went to DFW airport and greeted returning troops The troops were surprised when they first saw their greeters.
George Bush has been a class act since he left the White House. I even have to give kudos to Bill Clinton he has done a lot to help the people.

I noticed the stock market has stumbled this week as the jobless rate climbed again. One question Obama where are the jobs we have this healthcare program why are companies still not hiring? In Nov we have to ask our self are we better off than we were 2 years ago.

My grand baby is doing wonderful is absolutely the most beautiful girl I ever saw.

My Golf game has suffered with all this heat, I haven't golfed over 4 times in nearly 4 weeks.

Just watched my weather lady on the TV Rebeca Miller a cold front next week temps will be in the 90's

My electric Bill doubled and I keep it on 80 inside but 80 is grr8 when its 105 outside.

I enjoy watching my dogs chase the birds and squirrels in the back yard the birds and squirrels play with dogs. I noticed today that it was so hot the dogs took turns chasing the wildlife lol

Well heck alot of things has happen since I last blogged :

1. My Grandbaby was born she is a darling and is doing wonderful , mom and dad are doing ok also.

2. The hot days of summer are here and golfing now isn't much fun.

3. My electric bill doubled and so did my water bill I expected the electric bill but I havn't watered my yard so go figure.

4. BP stopped the leak, and the cleanup continues even thou they cant any oil in the ocean Rush Limbaugh was right. I wonder if Obama will give some of that shake down money back.

5. Bill and Hillarys daughter got married and they spend lots of$$$$$ , Obama s are jet setting on another vacation (the fourth on in aug) that cost lots of $$$$$$ they want the 47% of us to pay more taxes because they care for the poor yeah right .....nov can't get quick enough

47% of the people don't pay taxes so why do they get to vote I am just asking?

The top 3% pay nearly 60% of the taxes and they want more from them.

It's been a few days since I last blogged but I have a good reason I have been very tired.
I have gone to my doctor and she changed my med's. I need to stay awake next time I see my doctor. She sent in my medicine too the mail order place and I have received medicine the last three days . I have gone from 2 pills a day to over 6 ...35.00 to over 180.00 copay for 3 month supply....So I think I am gonna start a diet and start walking at night and try and lose weight maybe I can get off these pills or I need to buy a bigger pill box lol

Mystery plumber’ may have designed the new BP containment cap

It appears maybe that Obama's team of Harvard big wigs were out done by a local plumber
full story Six weeks ago, University of California, Berkeley, engineering professor Robert Bea received a late-night call from an anonymous plumber. Its been a hot week and last week I started having problems with my blood sugar spiking so I went to my doctor for a visit. Long story short the cheap stuff that wally world sells for 4 dollars doesn't work for me and now I am going back on the high price pills yuck....if these don't work it seems I will have to go on the needle injections yikes.

What happen

About a year ago the the big story was swine flu the end all virus. Looks like I was right the US govt over reacted.....The only thing that's the same is the demo's are still writing checks that we can't cash...Obama help bail out Greece and he won't even help pay my electric bill whats up Big Brother.



Saw last night on the news that Polaris is shutting down a plant in Wisconsin laying off 615 employees and moving shop to Mexico. I guess that's one way to stop the immigration issue, just take all the jobs to Mexico. I don't think its as easy to migrate to Mexico they will ask to see your papers. I guess the 615 can become artist or country music stars since they have health care.



I heard the other day on CNN that the BP leak was the worst ever ...Wow I thought the leak the Mexico had that leaked for 9 months was the worst...the world has a way of cleaning up our mistakes ......What happen to the black hole, just wandering...

Woke up at 6 am and took 3 vehicles and washed them ( with the little woman's help)

Ate breakfast at the donut shop full of sugar

Dovie is cleaning the pond out for the dogs.

Front yard looks great if I say so myself.

I had a census work come by wanting to ask questions I told her I sent in my form with all correct answers and that she could read it.

What is there to talk about

With all this rain lately Lake Bridgeport is full and should be full of campers all summer . I drove out by wise county park over mothers day weekend and it was already full of people camping, I almost wanted to get my tent and join them, I did say almost. The golf course should benefit also. My yard has been mowed about 4 times this year it doesn't seem to be growing very fast. My roses have enjoyed the rain and have looked wonderful at times.

I have took it upon myself to find the best burger in B'port I have tested DQ, Sonic, RockCity,Yesterday's, but I found the best burger is at Bridgeport Country Club Lonny and Rita cook a grr8 burger and the good news is you don't have to be a member to eat there or call in for carryout 683-9438.

With this wet weather our 5 babies ie:doggie cant stay outside and when they do go out they come in smelling like dogs

I went to my doctor and changed my diabetic medicine because of the cost. I have a good job and great pay and I don't see how people can pay for med's that are on fixed income or don't have a good job.

Appears they have a little leak in the gulf of Mexico, Obama said it was our fault also along with the companies that drilled the well. I wander if he intends on sending money to help clean up?
