I been watching our President really show what he made of. He has gone on world tours apologizing for America and he cant say he sorry for being a racial profiler against the Cambridge Police department and one officer who was doing his job and was backed up other officers who say that the arresting officer didn't do anything wrong, but in fact the home owner was at fault.
In the press conference when asked about this story he said he didn't know the facts. Sounds like that's how the democrats and our President pass laws that will cripple our country. To the driver who threw a Sonic cup at an oncoming car on State Highway 5 last weekend, Marilyn Mackey has some choice words.
Mackey was driving home to Anna from her part-time job about 9:45 p.m. Sunday when she heard an explosion. Soaking wet and covered in glass, she feared she’d been shot. “I couldn’t see anything,” she said. “I was trying to figure out what happened.”

US to borrow 46 cents for every dollar spent

Associated Press Writer Andrew Taylor, Associated Press Writer – WASHINGTON – The government will have to borrow nearly 50 cents for every dollar it spends this year, exploding the record federal deficit past $1.8 trillion under new White House estimates. Budget office figures released Monday would add $89 billion to the 2009 red ink — increasing it to more than four times last year's all-time high as the government hands out billions more than expected for people who have lost jobs and takes in less tax revenue from people and companies making less money.

Feherty apologizes for joke in magazine article

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP)—CBS Sports golf analyst David Feherty apologized Sunday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for a morbid joke that went bad in a Dallas magazine.
Feherty, one of the most popular golf analysts for his sharp wit and self-deprecating humor, was among five Dallas residents who wrote for “D Magazine” on former President George W. Bush moving to Dallas.
“From my own experience visiting the troops in the Middle East, I can tell you this though,” Feherty wrote toward the end of his column. “Despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Osama bin Laden, there’s a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death.”

I heard on TV that the White House official reponsible for the low level flight over New York City, which terrified alot of people with flashbacks of Sept. 11, resigned over this picture that cost $328,835.00 dollars. Obama was supposed to be a hands on Prezzzzz . It's his plane and he didn't know someone was going on a jolly ride in it. He said he didnt know about until afterward. More pig news

I read in a AP report that a herd of 220 pigs in Canada have quarantined, because they were infected with the swine flu from a worker who recently returned from Mexico. It was the first case recorded of humans passing swine flu to animals.

Has anyone in wise county been confirmed with swine flu?

I wander after going too a couple shopping malls over the weekend if the kids would be safer at school or the mall. And don't forget the movies theaters, I have never seen so many kids. One good thing they seem to be spending money so it should be good for the economy .

I saw in a AP report where Mexico may make decision to reopen schools and businesses on monday and we are shutting our schools down here.

America has sent nearly 16 million dollars in aid to mexico, we live in a great country

I was watching the food network tonight and they have a show called "Guy’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." On this show they went to Watauga Tx to a gas station on watauga rd. The Chef Point Cafe.....The food looked great and I have even bought gas there and didn't realize what I was missing. The Chef Point Cafe has been featured in Paula Deens magazine and on the show "Texas Country Reporter"

Farmers fear pigs may get swine flu from peopleHumans have it. Pigs don't. At least not yet, and U.S. pork producers are doing everything they can to make sure that the new H1N1 virus, known around the world as the "swine flu," stays out of their herds.

That is the biggest concern, that your herd could somehow contract this illness from an infected person," said Kansas hog farmer Ron Suther, who is banning visitors from his sow barns and requiring maintenance workers, delivery men and other strangers to report on recent travels and any illness before they step foot on his property.
"If a person is sick, we don't want you coming anywhere on the farm," Suther said.

I think maybe they should put mask on the pigs.

Chrysler declaring 'short' bankruptcy

The automaker Chrysler plans to avoid going out of business by declaring a short bankruptcy and joining in a merger with Italian automaker Fiat, the White House said Thursday.

“Today after consulting with my auto task force, I can report that the necessary steps have been taken to give one of America’s most storied automakers a new lease on life,” President Barack Obama said at the White House.

“You know, I don't want to run auto companies, I don't want to run banks. I've got two wars I've got to run already. I've got more than enough to do,” Obama said. “So the sooner we can get out of that business, the better off we're going to be.” POLITICO

He forgot too mention that he has a printing press in the basement for making money...he is a busy man....

Joe Joe Joe the VP offered advice today on TV

"I would tell members of my family — and I have — I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now," Biden said. "It's not that it's going to Mexico. It's you're in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft." Biden went on to say he wouldn't suggest that they ride the subway either.

The World Health Organization announced it would stop using the term "Swine Flu" to avoid confusion about the nature of the virus has put pigs in danger and hurt the pork industry. Yesterday I read where

Egypt began slaughtering its roughly 300,000 pigs as precaution, even though experts said swine flu is not spread by eating pork.

Way to go WHO, I don't think Egypt is confused

I just heard Ft Worth ISD just shut down for a week because of the swine flu.. How many people are they in America? With only 65 confirmed cases, Why? Its not going to help if all these kids hit the malls, movies,etc...The kids will like the time off until they find out that they will have to makeup the days off. Slow down a little and keep the sick people home and the well one in school and working.
