BP CEO's yacht outing infuriates Gulf residents
I was watching the news shows and watched people throw the CEO of BP because he went back to England to a yacht race. the story . Company spokesman Robert Wine said the break is the first for Hayward since the Deepwater Horizon rig that BP was leasing exploded April 20, killing 11 workers and setting off the undersea gusher.
Ronnie Kennier, a 49-year-old oysterman from Empire, La., said Hayward's day among the sailboats showed once again just how out of touch BP executives are with the suffering along the Gulf.
"He wanted to get his life back," Kennier said. "I guess he got it."
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden enjoyed a round of golf Saturday near Washington, something they've done on other weekends since the spill.
Seems like a double standard to me where is the CNN, CBS, ABC

I never thought I would say this but, Obama sounded so un presidential with his comment about kicking someones ass over the gulf oil leak. He hasn't even talked to BP CEO yet.
I watched CNN this afternoon I remember now why fox is kicking their ass.
Another thing I watch the Prez telling a High School graduation not to blame others accept
blame . WOW I wander if George Bush wrote that for him.

Helen Thomas retires in flap over Israel remarks
WASHINGTON – Longtime Washington journalist Helen Thomas abruptly retired Monday as a columnist for Hearst News Service following remarks she made about Israel that were denounced by the White House and her press corps colleagues.
The 89-year-old Thomas, dean of the White House press corps, has long been a fixture in Washington and has been lauded as a pioneering journalist who has covered presidents since 1960. Link
She should have been fired years ago in my opinion....

Class Act
WASHINGTON – Former first lady Laura Bush says she doesn't think President Barack Obama should be faulted for the continuing oil spill crisis in the Gulf Coast area.
Interviewed on "Good Morning America," Mrs. Bush said: "I think they're doing everything they can." She said it cannot be one person's responsibility to solve the problem. Link
I wish the man in the Oval office would learn a lesson and quit blaming Geo Bush.

Obama said the white house was on top of the oil spill. He said they were gonna have the smartest and brightest people to put their heads together and come up with a solution.
You know whats going on in the White House. "McCartney turns 'Michelle' into ode to first lady"
Link Obama was able to shout out to all the performer at the WH among those were Stevie Wonder, the Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Elvis Costello, Emmy lou Harris, Herbie Hancock .
I wander what the media would had done if George Bush had done this while animals were on the beaches covered in sea weed instead of oil. At least Michelle was having fun.
If I was Obama I would get me a new PR man someone who isn't afraid to say this doesn't look good.

Dieting for dollars? More US employees trying it
By MIKE STOBBE, AP Medical Writer Mike Stobbe, Ap Medical Writer – Wed Jun 2, 12:01 am ET
ATLANTA – How much money would it take to get you to lose some serious weight? $100? $500?
Many employers are betting they can find your price. At least a third of U.S. companies offer financial incentives, or are planning to introduce them, to get their employees to lose weight or get healthier in other ways.
"There's been an explosion of interest in this," said Dr. Kevin Volpp, director of the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Health Incentives. Link
I should lose weight now instead of holding out for $700

BP chief apologizes for 'I'd like my life back' comment
Come on peeps people needs to get a grip nothing was wrong with what he said . But I guess BP is the most hated company in the world and they have stepped up and are trying to fix the problem and have spend a ton of money. It bad enough take ur boot off of BP's throat and give them some credit. Now Eric Holder is going to charge people. I wander where they will hold court
